    School Social Worker – $50/hr – Burbank, IL – In-Person – 15 Weeks

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a School Social Worker (SSW) to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide input in the development of IHP/IEPs for students requiring social work intervention and support in a school setting. This role involves working with students across elementary to high school levels, including those with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, and providing classroom support as part of a team of SSWs.

    Assignment Details:

    + Location: Burbank, IL

    + Start Date: January 26, 2026 (ASAP/Flexible Start)

    + End Date: End of 2025–2026 school year

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 32.5 per week (8:15 AM–3:15 PM, unpaid 30-min break)

    + Duration: 15 weeks

    + Pay Rate: $50/hour

    + Modality: In-person only

    + Interview: In-person (before 8 AM or after 4 PM if candidate is currently working)

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide social work services and interventions for students

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IHP/IEP development

    + Support students with cognitive and intellectual disabilities

    + Offer classroom support and consultation with staff

    Requirements:

    + Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement

    + MSW or LCSW may be required per state or contract

    + Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
