    LBS1 Teacher OR Substitute Teacher (SpecializedProgram – Autism)

     

    Local Pay Rate: $51/HR

     

    Schedule: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 30-minute unpaid break

     

    Start Date: ASAP – End of School Year (May 22; makeupdays through June 1 if needed)

     

    We are seeking a compassionate, student-centered educator tosupport a structured learning classroom serving students with autism.This position is open to LBS1-licensed teachers or SubstituteTeachers with prior specialized program experience. If you arecollaborative, adaptable, and committed to supporting students with diverseneeds, this is a great fit.

     

    Caseload & Classroom Details

     

    + In-person role

    + Structured learning classroom

    + No more than 8 students

    + Specialized autism program

    + Behaviors may include:

    + Occasional aggression (currently minimal)

    + Vocalizations

    + Difficulty with routines and transitions

    + Highly supportive district with strong resources and team collaboration

    Required Experience

    + For Substitute Teachers: prior experience in specialized or structured classrooms

    + For LBS1 Teachers: passion for supporting students, strong teamwork, willingness to take feedback

    + Looking for someone who is:

    + Open to coaching and support

     

    Interview & Onboarding

     

    + Interview format: In-person or virtual (in-person preferred)

    + Onboarding requirement: District fingerprinting

    + Feedback loop: Within 48 hours
