The X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician performs diagnostic procedures and activities to create detailed diagnostic images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. The X-Ray Technician / Radiology Technician collaborates with members of the radiology and health care team to promote total patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or its equivalent certification.

+ Completion of an accredited radiological technology program, community-based college, or hospital-based program if required by state/contract

+ State license or certificate where required

+ Current ARRT certificate preferred

+ Prefer one-year relevant experience as a radiology technician

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Hours: 40 hours/week

Shifts: 8-hour & 10-hour shifts available | Variable days/shifts

Start Date: ASAP

Travel Weekly Pay:

+ $3,132/week (4×10s)

+ $3,108/week (5×8s)

Job Overview

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Radiologic Technologists for a travel assignment in Palo Alto, CA. This opportunity offers flexible shifts, hands-on pediatric exposure, and the chance to work within one of the nation’s most respected healthcare systems.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

+ ARRT Certification – Required

+ California CRT License – Required

+ Fluoroscopy Permit – Required

+ At least 1 year of recent hospital Rad Tech experience – Required

+ Pediatric (PEDS) experience – Required

Responsibilities

+ Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic procedures

+ Operate radiology and fluoroscopy equipment safely

+ Support imaging needs for adult and pediatric patients

+ Collaborate closely with physicians and the imaging team

+ Ensure patient comfort, accuracy, and safety

+ Maintain proper imaging records and documentation

Schedule & Contract Details

+ 13-week travel contract

+ 40 hours per week

+ Choice of: 4×10s or 5×8s

+ Variable shifts (days/evenings/nights based on facility needs)

+ Start ASAP
