    Description

    This role will be responsible for direction and execution of a major analytics transformation program at the Estée Lauder Companies, including business alignment, technical deliverables and fostering highly effective partnerships across a matrixed organization. In this capacity the individual will engage with Brands, Regions, Functions and Technical leaders and teams globally to set direction and oversee, accelerate and deliver the evolution of our predictive analytics capabilities.

    Key Roles & Responsibilities

    + Be a single point of contact for Apex program to lead IT D&A activities.

    + Collaborate with Apex IT leads to understand and develop project milestones for data related work.

    + Collaborate with PMs & finance on monthly budget forecasts and reconciling invoices (related to D&A team).

    + Follow internal IT process to onboard internal or external D&A resources for the project.

    + Partner with Procurement and Vendor Management to create and execute NDAs/Contracts/Statements of Work/Change Orders, to bring D&A resources.

    + Ensure data deliverables are delivered comprehensively, completely, on time, and within budget.

    + Identifies resource needs and ensures resources are accountable and delivering against their project commitments.

    + Manage project risk exposure and escalate functional, quality, timeline issues appropriately. Deliver one or more Data & Analytics Products to Functions/Regions/Brands.

    + Develop business cases in collaboration with teams and stakeholders, formulate plans, estimate resources and identify timing for execution.

    + Define project organization & methodology (internal vs outsourced, agile vs waterfall).

    + Build a Proof of Concept when required.

    + Write D&A Product Requirements Documentation listing features (both back and front⁃end), metrics/KPIs, data sources, detailed design.

    + Ensure design of solution includes data architecture, user interface and user experience while meeting business requirements.

    + Build sustainable and reusable data assets that can be leveraged for self⁃service and other initiatives.

    + These assets will include, but no limited to: syndicated market data, consumerdata, digital media spend etc.

    + Coordinate sign⁃offs with user representatives/stakeholders.

    + Drive solution selection process e.g. RFI/RFP, review vendors.

    + Supervise Product development and testing on a daily basis, manage dependencies across departments and functions, ensure on⁃time and within⁃budget delivery, adhere to high⁃quality standards.

    + Manage Customer communication with the proper level of detail.

    + Organize training sessions; Facilitate transition to support teams Budget.

    + Provides Project Financial Management to: (1) Ensure project funding processes are completed (2) Manage project budget and changes (3) Track project burn rate and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis (4) Update project forecasts on a monthly basis.

    Qualifications

    BUSINESS LEADERSHIP

    + Extensive experience in Global project management and software Product management ideally within large⁃scale organizations

    + Proven track record and experience in delivering projects within time and budget with strategic roadmaps and robust communication planning to support execution

    + Manage IT data teams (internal & external) across different project areas (vertically and horizontally)

    + Proactive resource planning with the workstream leads on the data needs

    + Understanding and usage of data across different areas (retail, online, supply chain, finance, marketing etc.)

    + Customer⁃oriented

    + Proactive leadership to build strong rapport and relationship with cross⁃functional users and stakeholders as well as with on⁃shore and off⁃shore resources

    + Ability to understand business needs and translate them into efficient solutions designs

    + Excellent communication skills, highly⁃organized, self⁃motivated

    + Advanced knowledge in Marketing (Consumer & DigitalMarketing, CRM metrics, Omni⁃channel Retail...)

    TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP

    + Experience in leading visualization tools e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikView/QlikSense

    + Knowledge of Data warehousing and Data Lake concepts and architecture (Azure, Hive, Spark...)

    + Working knowledge of Machine Learning, Forecast Modelling and Complex Data Analysis

    + Knowledge of Predictive Analytics

    + Hands⁃on working knowledge on EDL, data interfaces connecting different applications

    + Awareness on data governance, data architecture, data security etc.

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP

    + Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools including Agile and Hybrid Agile. Enterprise⁃related expertise should include knowledge and use of resource management, portfolio management, demand management and governance techniques.

    + Ability to adjust to changing priorities/goals and to adapt timelines, budgets and scope accordingly

    + Methodical in approach especially in risk management and mitigation planning

    + Prior experience/understanding of Agile Burn⁃Down, sprint management, retrospectives and user stories

    + Defines key messages in support of strategy

    + Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree

    + Minimum Years of Experience: 10⁃15 years

    + Licenses or Certifications: Agile, SCRUM, Product Owner, PMP equivalent
