Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant work experience in one or more areas of Central Operations including Substation Operations, Construction, Steam Operations and/or Facilities.
+ Associate's Degree and 4 years of relevant work experience in one or more areas of Central Operations including Substation Operations, Construction, Steam Operations and/or Facilities.
+ or
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant work experience in one or more areas of Central Operations including Substation Operations, Construction, Steam Operations and/or Facilities. or
Relevant Work Experience
+ Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Central Operations, including Substation Operations, Construction, Steam Operations, or Facilities, required.
+ Demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, required.
+ Demonstrate strong presentation and facilitation skills, required.
+ Demonstrate high energy level, flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments while working under tight deadlines, required.
+ Demonstrate strong organizational, administrative, decision making and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and a solid teamwork orientation, required.
+ Maintain a professional demeanor and have the ability to deal with all levels of management, regulatory agencies, union personnel and customers, required.
+ Have hands-on experience with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office products, required.
+ Demonstrate ability to incorporate new and innovative technology to enhance processes, required.
+ Be familiar with curriculum development or instructional design, preferred.
+ Have experience with eTrain and TLC Portal, preferred.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
+ Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 40 pounds
+ Sit or stand to answer a phone for the duration of the workday
+ Sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for the duration of the workday
+ Possess manual dexterity and the ability to use hands for the duration of the workday
+ Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and kneel throughout the workday
+ Stand to use/operate office equipment for the duration of the workday
+ Ability to read small print and symbols
Additional Physical Demands
+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
+ Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
