Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour

Travel Requirement: Up to 90% (All travel expenses covered) *locally and across SEI national footprint locations.

Position Overview

Security Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and outgoing Territory Reconnaissance Specialist to lead market intelligence and field reconnaissance efforts in the Dallas, TX metropolitan areas and across SEI national footprint locations. This role is essential to our growth strategy and supports both sales and operations by identifying new business opportunities through on-the-ground evaluations of security operations at potential client locations.

The ideal candidate is confident, disciplined, and thrives in independent, field-based work while engaging directly with people and environments to gather actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Field Evaluation

+ Conduct daily on-site assessments of security operations at assigned locations within designated territories.

+ Observe and document visible security presence, access control measures, and operational activity.

Market Intelligence & Data Collection

+ Identify and record key intelligence points, including:

+ + Current security model (In-house vs. Contract).

+ Incumbent security provider (if applicable).

+ General scope and scale of the security operation.

+ Observable strengths, gaps, or vulnerabilities in security coverage.

Reporting & Documentation

+ Accurately track and report all findings using Microsoft Word and Excel.

+ Maintain organized records to support sales development, strategic planning, and operational decision-making.

+ Provide timely, detailed reports to leadership and internal stakeholders.

Technical Skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) for documentation and reporting.

Travel

+ Willing and able to travel up to 90% of the time, *locally and across SEI national footprint locations.

+ Comfortable working in various environments across metropolitan areas.

Compensation & Benefits

+ Competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 , based on experience.

+ 100% of travel-related expenses covered by Security Engineers, Inc.
