    Description

    WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

     

    Jensen Infrastructure is hiring a **Supply Chain Manager** to lead purchasing, inventory control, and production planning across multiple branches. In this role, you’ll be driving operational efficiency, improving production scheduling, and strengthening supply chain execution in a complex manufacturing environment.

     

    You’ll be leading a multi-site supply chain team, managing high-mix production scheduling, and ensuring purchasing and inventory activities are executed accurately and on time. This role is ideal for a hands-on supply chain leader who thrives in environments where planning accuracy, system discipline, and cross-functional collaboration directly impact performance.

     

    A highlight of your day-to-day will include:

    Production Control & Planning

    + Leading and improving production scheduling in a high mix manufacturing environment, ensuring schedules are accurate, achievable, and planned ahead

    + Training plant teams on best practices for order entry, work orders, scheduling, and system reporting

    + Establishing feedback loops and performing audits to validate bills of materials, routings, and planning accuracy

    Purchasing

    + Overseeing purchasing activities across all branches to ensure timely, accurate transactions

    + Standardizing purchasing processes and driving cost savings through volume consolidation and supplier negotiations

    + Monitoring raw material cost variances and maintaining order points and economic order quantities within the ERP system

    Inventory Control

    + Improving inventory turnover while reducing excess, obsolete, and aging inventory and WIP

    + Implementing cycle counting and equipping branch teams with reporting tools to manage inventory effectively

    + Optimizing system parameters to support make/buy decisions and material planning

    MRO & Data Standardization

    + Assessing and improving MRO systems and processes, including MP2

    + Leading part number standardization efforts and cleaning up ERP data using rename and merge tools

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Required

    + Proven experience in production scheduling within a high-mix manufacturing environment

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related discipline _(APICS or similar supply chain certification acceptable in place of degree)_

    + Experience leading a supply chain, planning, or materials team

    + Hands-on purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting

    + Strong working knowledge of ERP-based planning and MRP systems

    + Ability to manage complex supplier relationships while maintaining strong partnerships

    + Strong written, verbal, organizational, and program management skills

    Preferred

    + Advanced ERP planning experience (IFS strongly preferred; SAP, Oracle, or similar accepted)

    + MBA (preferred, not required)

    + Experience modernizing supply chain, inventory, or MRO processes
