_Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. The internship program will allow for interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders._

The Meijer Legal Department’s mission is to listen and partner with our fellow Meijer team members to achieve their business goals using proactive, strategic, and creative solutions. Our Legal Intern will support the Meijer in-house attorneys in fulfilling this mission.

The intern will learn from a variety of practical, real-world in-house counsel experiences including the following:

+ Opportunity to support attorneys in the commercial transaction practice group in various ways

+ Conduct legal research and draftmemoranda

+ Review and analyzecaselaw, statutes and guidelines

+ Attend and participateininternalmeetings and provideinput on variousMeijer initiatives
