    Lead Financial Analyst (IC2), Global Applications, Revenue Strategy and Analysis

    **Group Overview** Join the Central Applications team, driving our $8B+ business through strategic transformation and providing global impact. Focused on ensuring forecast accuracy as it is critical to inform business decisions and use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), creating insightful and faster business responses. By identifying regional best practices and scaling them globally, the team ensures innovation is not constrained by past approaches. The organization emphasizes forward-thinking solutions to enhance analytical insights to drive business opportunities.

    Role Overview

    Support the Global Applications Finance (GBF) organization by driving Global top line growth and margin expansion by delivering accurate revenue forecasting through comprehensive modeling that provides both strategic insights and actionable outcomes to the business. The role reports to Revenue Finance Manager and works closely with cross-functional Finance and systems teams. You will execute as a centralized global force to scale the business, innovate, and drive best practice. As a contributor, you will receive direction and mentoring towards developing a foundation that instills the team’s bias towards action, inclusive collaboration, and positive persistence, while showing grit and determination in the face of obstacles.

    Responsibilities:

    + Skilled professional supporting Applications business as it relates to data and scenario analysis, process control, and system integration

    + Critical finance partner in providing actionable revenue debriefs into regions on monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis, using tools to develop and streamline communication to global stakeholders

    + Key contributor to GBF’s AI/ML strategy around how we ‘deliver’ finance in the future

    + Applies established concepts to perform routine and standard variance and scenario analysis with minimal supervision

    + Identifies process and system issues to drive cross-functional transformational efficiencies via simplification, standardization and automation

    + Support and participate in various system enhancement, automation, and process improvement initiatives

    + Proactively drive efficiencies via simplification, standardization, automation and participates in Global Business Finance change initiatives

    + Bachelor degree with 2+ years finance experience. MBA and Apps experience highly preferred

    + Possesses focus, enthusiasm, has a growth mindset, is inquisitive, and has a bias toward action

    + Develops financial skills by using available new techniques and contributes to the development of new techniques and process improvement

    + Proactively assesses business needs and concerns, and customizes approach to drive solutions for those needs and concerns

    + Passion for increasing efficiency, standardization and automation with the end-to-end process in mind (both upstream and downstream)

    + Recognizes differences in communications styles, work styles, and culture as opportunities for learning

    + Ability to stay organized, manage time appropriately, and has attention to detail to achieve accuracy and consistency

    + Aptitude to handle increasing complexity with minimal direct guidance and provide actionable business solutions

    + Ability to self-serve to understand policy and procedure related to the role

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

    US: Hiring Range in USD from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

     

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

     

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

    8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

    10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
