CNA Training Program - Learn While You Earn! Start Your Healthcare Career with Paid CNA Training

United Methodist Communities (UMC) in Cape May County, a 5-Star, full-service senior living community located in beautiful Ocean City, NJ, is now accepting applications for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Trainees.

This is a paid, full-time opportunity that allows you to work as a CNA In-Training while earning your CNA certification.

Program Details:

+ Class Start Date: February 2, 2026

+ Program Length: 6 weeks

+ Schedule: Full-Time | Evening Shift

+ Attendance: 100% attendance required (limited spots available)

+ Paid Training: $17/hour during training

+ Post-Certification Pay: $20.00/hour upon successful completion

Upon successful completion of the training program and CNA certification, you will be offered full-time employment on evening or night shift (based on availability).

As a CNA at UMC, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centered care to our residents. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Registered Nurses, CNAs are valued members of our interdisciplinary care team, supporting the emotional, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of each resident.

CNA Responsibilities:

+ Assisting residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, shaving)

+ Performing daily skin checks and reporting changes to nursing staff

+ Supporting dining experiences (serving, clearing, cutting food, and feeding as needed)

+ Providing comfort, dignity, and respect in all interactions

+ Following community policies, procedures, and best practices

CNA Training Requirements:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Ability to attend all scheduled classes

+ Commitment to full-time employment with UMC following certification (evenings or nights)

+ Excellent attendance, dependability, and punctuality

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

+ A genuine passion for direct care and working with older adults
