48 hours per week, Mon-Sun, 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Duties include assisting with daily farm operations such as operating farm equipment for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting crops; loading and unloading trucks; and performing general equipment maintenance including fluid changes, tire rotation, brake checks, cleaning grain bins, and washing vehicles. Responsibilities may involve climbing ladders and grain bins, ground and facility maintenance (mowing, weed control), maintaining a clean shop area, and completing other assigned tasks. Work involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, bending, and working long hours in heat and cold. Rain days are typically spent repairing equipment and preparing for upcoming work. Must communicate in English, follow instructions, and be physically capable of performing all duties associated with Agricultural Equipment Operators (SOC/OES 45-2091). Weekend and holiday work may be required.
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of three (3) months of experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work including extensive pushing or pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping or bending, and repetitive movements. Job requires exposure to variable and extreme weather conditions. Must obtain a valid U.S. driver’s license within two (2) weeks of reporting to work and maintain a clean motor vehicle record. Must be able, willing, and available to perform all job duties for the entire period of employment.

### Additional Compensation
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers more than the published minimum wage rate.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
