• Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

    Description

    ITU AbsorbTech is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Piedmont, SC.

    In this role, you will:

    + Repair and maintain industrial laundry machinery

    + Work with electrical, boilers, pumps, air compressors, hydraulics, and other production machines and equipment

    + Troubleshoot mechanical devices

    + Work from blueprints, electrical schematics, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specification

    + Perform general maintenance operations

    **Pay:** $25-$27 an hour, depending on experience + $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

    **2nd Shift Schedule:** 1pm-9pm OR 4pm-12am, Monday-Friday. Occasional weekends as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    Associate degree (or current enrollment in a technical school) in Facilities Maintenance (or similar) and 1-3 years’ related experience in maintenance or mechanical repair is required; or equivalent in related experience. Must be detail-oriented, dependable, and have a positive attitude.
