Purpose:
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Projects to drive important initiatives and ensure the successful implementation of strategic projects throughout our organization. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact by leading ambitious projects, fostering innovation, and optimizing operations. Your leadership will be essential in helping us achieve our business goals and maintain our position as a global leader in the medical devices industry.
The primary deliverable of this role will be to transform our MedTech Validation process through the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), creating new value by eliminating transactional inefficiencies and complexity, empowering our teams to focus on our customers. As the Business Process Owner of the Validations module of QuIn, it will be necessary to build robust requirements that meet the business needs across the MedTech sector for a global implementation of this exciting technology.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Project Leadership: Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to deliver projects on time and within budget.
+ Business Process Ownership: Develop digitally enabled validation module for Johnson & Johnson MedTech. Ensure the speed and efficiency of the Agile/Scrum process in collaboration with the Product Owner, the Business Analyst and the Scrum Master. Clearly articulate business needs and translate them into detailed requirements for the development team.
+ Operational Support: Offer operational supervision and assistance to uphold the efficiency and effectiveness of processes throughout the organization. Recognize areas for enhancement and implement standard methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
+ Brand New Solutions: Foster a culture of creativity and identify new opportunities to drive innovation within the organization. Implement brand new solutions to continuously improve operational performance.
+ Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and hard-working work environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to build team capabilities and achieve organizational goals. Support the delivery teams/squads, ensuring alignment to schedule, budget, and scope requirements. Owns quality by adhering to SDLC, Design & Code standards, security and compliance policies.
+ Collaborator Engagement: Work closely with senior leaders, department heads, and external partners to align projects with strategic priorities. Sector-wide change management for implementation of AI-solutions. Keep collaborators informed about project status, risks, and outcomes, promoting transparency and alignment.
+ Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful execution of projects. Proactively address challenges and obstacles to maintain project momentum.
+ Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control. Monitor financial performance and provide regular updates to leadership.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree with proven experience in Business, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the medical devices industry.
+ Demonstrated experience in managing complex, multi-functional projects with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.
+ Strong knowledge of the medical devices industry, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
+ Validation experience across equipment, process, and systems.
+ Change Management experience with sector-level initiatives
+ Experience with GxP systems and implementation.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and collaborator management skills.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
+ Experience with budget management and financial oversight.
+ Experience with Computerized Systems Validation (CSV), SDLC, Agile/Scrum processes preferred.
+ Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Advanced proficiency in project management software tools.
+ Experience working in a global or multinational organization.
+ Established track record of accomplishing critical initiatives.
+ PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.

+ Proficiency in English is required.
+ Occasional travel may be required, both national and international.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
