    Position Description

    The Reynolds and Reynolds Company is seeking a Product Development Attorney for its in-house automotive documents development and compliance team.Responsibilities:- Research, draft, and revise automotive transactional documents (e.g., Retail Installment Sale Contracts, Lease Contracts, Buyer\u2019s Orders, Ancillary F&I documents) to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.- Monitor and analyze legislation and regulations across 50+ jurisdictions and advise on their impact on product lines and services.- Collaborate with internal teams, outside counsel, and industry leaders to align products with industry trends and compliance needs.- Assist with the LAW\u00ae F&I Document Review program and other Reynold\u2019s family of products supporting dealership sales and finance processes.- Draft summaries, articles, and presentations for internal and public distribution.- Represent Reynolds and the LAW\u00ae brand at industry trade shows and conferences as needed.Additional Information:- Remote position with occasional travel to Dayton, OH or Houston, TX.- Must have a dedicated workspace and reliable internet access.

     

    Training

    Requirements

    Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and a license to practice in at least one U.S. state.~^~5-10 years\u2019 relevant experience\u2014automotive sales\/finance preferred; experience in consumer finance, lending, leasing, compliance, or regulatory affairs also considered.~^~Strong research, writing, communication, and teamwork skills.~^~Able to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure documents maintain a consistent tone and style.
