    Job Description

    A client in the Dallas, TX area is looking to hire a fully remote Business Analyst/ Product Owner to join their dynamic team. The organization is currently undergoing a revamp of their legacy technology stack to modernize internal facing web applications.

    • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders to create detailed user stories and process flows.

    • Utilize Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) to visualize and document business processes.

    • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRD) to ensure alignment with business goals.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.

    • Present requirements, user stories, and process flows to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.

    • Adapt quickly to changing project requirements and priorities, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new things on the fly.

    • Work in both Waterfall and Agile environments, understanding the nuances and best practices of each methodology.

    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that the product meets business needs and requirements.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years' experience in BA/Product Owner Role

     

    - Strong communication skills

     

    - Experience with gathering requirements, creating user stories and process flows specifically during presentation

     

    - Experience with business process model notation (BPNM) and understanding of business requirements documents (BRD)

     

    - Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment, need flexibility to change direction quickly and dive in to learn new things on the fly

     

    - Understanding of Waterfall/ Agile environments
