Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Sales Engineer to join a team in the aerospace sensor product line of one of our customers. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving new business and supporting team growth. This role serves as the primary technical point of contact for customers from early discussions through proposal submission, partnering closely with engineering, operations, quality, and sales teams. The Sales Engineer translates customer needs into technical solutions, prepares competitive proposals, and supports the successful transition of awarded programs into product development.

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or similar)
• Experience with manufacturing or ERP systems preferred; preference for Visual/VM.
• Prior technical sales experience working with engineering and procurement teams preferred
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Capable of delivering clear, impactful technical presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally • Aerospace or aviation industry background
• Prior experience in custom part manufacturing, distribution, or repair within a manufacturing environment
