    Job Description

    This large global hotel chain is revamping a CMS product that will feature landing pages. They are rewriting the back end, and this team has taken over the front end as they build it out. This product is more customer/user focused, as the data that goes into the tool goes out to be serviced to the hotel guest. The team needs a skilled full stack developer who has React on the front end with Node.Js, and AWS on the back end. There will be some API work as well, so front end user facing development is a must. This developer should have great communication, being collaborative, resourceful, and strategic in their development (not just a heads down developer). Ideally the team would like someone who has used diagram tools to present ideas well.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Front End Framework: React, TypeScript – React is the framework, Typescript is the programming language (they should have both)

     

    AWS Specific Services (Lambda, API Gateway, Document DB/MongoDB, DynamoDB)

     

    Backend: NodeJs, TypeScript, Serverless Framework

     

    API work, front end user facing work is necessary and would make this candidate stand out

    Great communication, collaborative and strategic in their development (not just a heads down developer)

    Someone who can use diagram tools to present ideas well (more than just a heads down developer but someone who can stick their neck out and be resourceful, proactive). IaaC: Terraform

     

    Monitoring Tools: DataDog

     

    AI skills such as Claude Code

     

    Somone who has worked on a CMS product
