Summary:
GO Systems is a horizontal team serving Global Operations accountable for delivery of systems and tooling strategies. GO Systems combines expertise in our products with operational, analytical, and technical skills to design and manage scalable processes. This work is enabled by a team of Systems Program Managers accountable for delivery across one of the following categories of jobs to be done: workflow design and management, workflow execution (production), and implementing tooling changes into Operations. GO Systems sits at the nexus between Engineering and Operations and is a technology-first organization. This individual can work through the hands-on technical side of tooling (e.g., completing configurations, investigating tooling bugs, and conducting testing) while also building interpersonal relationships and managing XFN communications.

Systems Program Manager, GO Systems Responsibilities:
1. Systems Program Managers within GO Systems contribute to advancing GO’s tooling strategies across three categories of jobs to be done:
2. Workflow Design and Management: GO Systems is responsible for defining, building, and maintaining repeatable, sustainable processes that support GO’s tooling ecosystem (e.g., roadmapping, bug management, vendor insights)
3. Workflow Execution / Production: GO Systems executes its internal workflows utilizing a combination of FTE and Vendor resources

Implementing Tooling Changes into Operations: GO Systems facilitates significant tooling changes within GO’s ecosystem, with support including scope and design of technical solutions, project / program management, acceptance and experimental testing, training users on new tooling solutions, and providing expert opinion as GO’s tooling subject matter experts

6. Program Management: A primary job to be done for GO Systems is implementing tooling changes into operations. Awareness of program and project management best practices is essential to delivering technically sound solutions at scale for Operations
7. Cross-Functional Partner Engagement: GO Systems serves an important role in balancing the business needs of Operations with the priorities of Meta’s various product teams. Systems Program Managers are regularly called upon to problem solve, prioritize, and inform business decisions happening in both Product and Operations
Minimum Qualifications:

8. Bachelor's degree in a directly related field, or equivalent practical experience
9. 12+ years of experience with end-to-end project management in a product, technical, and/or operations environment
10. Experience initiating and driving multiple projects simultaneously with minimal guidance
11. Experience with systems and tools used by Operations teams
12. Experience partnering with technical teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, Data Science)
13. Demonstrated experience in creating reference documents and communicating them with stakeholders
14. Strategic thinker with problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset
15. Communication & Documentation Skills: Effective communication and rudimentary documentation skills are a core expectation of all Systems Program Managers
16. Experience with tools supporting Operations functions and technical proficiency about systems ecosystems is a must for this role

17. 1+ years of experience using at least one scripting or programming language (SQL, PHP, Python, Haskell)
18. 3+ years of experience working directly with technical teams to scope requirements, create Service Level Agreements (SLAs), reporting on critical metrics and drive technical decisions
19. Experience working at the nexus of product (engineering) and operations (integrity, support, or annotations functions)
Public Compensation:
$152,000/year to $214,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
