Job Description

The Warehouse Specialist supports Supply Chain by assisting with inventory, shipping, and receiving operations. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely logistics, and a well-organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced with SAP or similar systems, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace.​ Our Warehouse Specialists are dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about getting things done. Key Responsibilities:

+ ​​Organize and maintain the warehouse layout, ensuring efficient storage and accessibility of inventory, products, and packing materials.

+ ​Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, documenting any discrepancies.

+ ​Process transactions in SAP, including: Shipping and receiving, Inventory transfers and expense tracking, Weekly cycle counts and adjustments.

+ ​Maintain accurate inventory records, including real-time updates of stock levels and product movement.

+ ​Prepare products for shipment, including labeling, packing, and staging for outbound logistics.

+ ​Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to services operations order.

+ ​Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Southwire safety policies and procedures.

+ ​Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently (if applicable).

+ ​Collaborate with Operations and team members to support special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.​

**Required Education:** High School Diploma

**Required Experience:** 1 -3 years

Preferred Skills, Licenses, & Certificates:

+ ​​Must have basic computer skills – MS Excel, MS Word, Data Entry, SAP Preferred.

+ ​Knowledge of inventory management and shipping and receiving processes.

+ ​Excellent organizational and communication skills

+ ​Forklift operation​
