**Hybrid Remote | 2 weeks per month onsite in Westlake, TX**

Pay: $55 - $60/hr W2

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

+ Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and tools using Java to ensure high-quality software delivery.

+ Engage in hands-on coding to create robust, scalable, and efficient test scripts.

+ Collaborate with development teams to design and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans.

+ Conduct thorough API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of web services.

+ Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

+ Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and high-quality code standards.

+ Continuously enhance test automation processes and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.

+ Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our testing practices remain innovative and effective.

Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

+ Extensive experience in Java programming, with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding.

+ Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a focus on test automation and API testing.

+ Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

+ Experience with test automation frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar is a plus.

+ Experience with performance testing tools and techniques is a plus.
