Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) certification and completed Clinical Fellowship (CCC required) for a school-based maternity leave coverage role serving Weston Elementary School and Avis Middle School. This position offers a private office and runs Monday–Friday, 6 hours 40 minutes daily (paid lunch), with schedules of 8:20 AM–3:05 PM at Weston and 7:55 AM–2:55 PM at Avis.

Responsibilities :

The caseload includes approximately 45 students, providing small group or individual sessions (12–15 students per day) on a 6-day rotation.

1. Makes assessments, analyses and classifications of students' communication

competencies and characteristics.

2. Plans, prepares and delivers treatment programs for children with speech and

language deficiencies.

3. Provides diagnostic evaluations of pupils referred to the child study team for

communication disorders and participates in team conferences related to those

pupils.

4. Develops and implements an individualized educational program (IEP) in

conjunction with parents and teachers for pupils who are eligible for speech

correction and identifies pupils in need of related services.

5. Provides individual and small group intervention sessions with students who have

been classified.

6. Conducts classes in speech and language and/or articulation
