Job Description
We are looking for a Security Engineer to join the Hardware Security Team. This team is focused on assessing and securing next generation devices for emerging companies. The team's mission is to ensure device privacy and compliance through hardware security evaluations. You will perform hardware security assessment on new device designs, collaborate with third party manufacturers to update and improve those designs, and then review the designs for privacy protection. While doing so, you will identify any defects or vulnerabilities. You will implement secure boot processes for embedded systems and SOCs, perform cryptographic analysis, utilize lab equipment for testing/validation and assess chips and circuits. This Engineer will need to have strong secure boot implementation experience, great cryptography expertise (AES, asymmetric/symmetric keys, etc.), as well as a brief understanding of programming in C or C++ for code reviews.

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-5+ years of experience in hardware security or embedded systems security.
-Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust.
Strong knowledge of:
-Secure boot implementations for SoCs and processors.
-Cryptography (RSA, AES, HMAC, PQC).
-Hardware security architectures (ARM TrustZone, Intel SGX).
Familiarity with:
-Debug interface security (JTAG, BDM).
-Anti-rollback mechanisms.
-Fault injection protection.
-Experience with hardware security testing tools and methodologies.
-Ability to write technical documents, project plans, and progress reports. -Master’s degree or equivalent advanced experience.
-Experience with DRM and content protection systems.
-RTL design knowledge (VHDL, Verilog).
-Side-channel attack analysis and countermeasures.
-Hands-on experience with electronics test equipment.
-Penetration testing or hardware hacking experience.
