Job Description

Design and model aerospace/defense components and systems using CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks, NX, CATIA).

Apply GD&T per ASME Y14.5; perform tolerance analyses to ensure fit and function.

Create and maintain documentation per SAE, NAS, and MIL-STD standards.

Interpret Air Force Technical Orders for compliance and configuration control.

Prepare and process ECPs and RFVs for government approval.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration.

Support manufacturing, resolve nonconformances, and participate in design reviews.

Skills and Requirements

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of mechanical design experience (DoD/Air Force preferred).

Expertise in CAD, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.

Familiarity with ASME, SAE, NAS, MIL standards and Air Force TOs.

Experience with ECPs, RFVs, and configuration management.

Strong communication skills; ability to interface with DoD customers.
