    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's largest financial services clients is looking for a Java Full stack Developer local to the Pittsburgh area. This individual will be a part of the Structured Debt Client Platform Engineering. This development team will be supporting a customer portal that contains multiple applications. This work will include hands-on development both in the backend and front end. Day to day responsibilities include the following:

     

    • This person will be responsible for Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and performant backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.

    • They will also Build and enhance modern Angular applications using TypeScript, NgRx for state management, and Nx for managing micro frontend architecture.

    • Implementing structured logging using SLF4J and Log4j, and integrate with monitoring tools and logging aggregators (e.g., Splunk, ELK).

    • This person will Collaborate with DevOps engineers to define and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ensuring smooth and secure build, test, and deployment workflows.

    • Leadership will also be heavily consistent as mentoring junior developers is apart of the day to day.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 7-10 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Developer

    • Strong backend development with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data.

    • Frontend development with Angular (specifically NX based), TypeScript, NgRx, and RxJS.

    • Experience with coding, specifically hands on coding

    • System Design Knowledge Experience

    • Experience with both Front-End and Back-End Development

    • Experience writing SQL queries • Background supporting Mortgage or Federal or Loan Customers
