Job Description
Hybrid 3 days/week (Tues - Thurs) to Charlotte, NC / Hartford, CT / Columbus, OH
Design & implement automated E2E tests using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for critical user journeys (auth, checkout, search, dashboards).
Maintain the test automation framework: refactor selectors, enhance utilities, stabilize flaky tests, and improve parallelization for speed.
Shift-left collaboration: attend daily stand-ups and grooming sessions; review acceptance criteria to define test strategy and automation coverage early.
Build robust test data strategies: create fixtures, mocks, and service stubs; manage deterministic test data to ensure reliable runs in CI.
Own CI integration: configure test execution in GitHub Actions/Jenkins/Azure DevOps, triage failures, and enforce quality gates on PRs.
API testing: write and run tests for REST/GraphQL endpoints; validate contracts, error handling, and performance for critical services.
