    _This is a first shit position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!_

     

    As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans utilizing manufacturing test development or diagnostic equipment performs functions such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly. Coordinates with engineers in the set-up and calibration of tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and to collect design data or assist in research work.

     

    Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. This would also include preparing the surfaces of parts, assemblies, and finished products by cleaning, stripping, abrading, sanding, masking and stenciling. Selects and mixes finishing materials.

     

    Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

     

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

     

    High school diploma or GED

     

    Atleast 3 years work experience in Manufacturing/Operations Manufacturing

     

    Must be able to lift 20-30lbs.

     

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

     

    Experience following processes and written instructions

     

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

     

    Participation in a trade school or training program that focuses on Electronics

    Preference would be 5 years experience with the following:

    Experience with soldering and wire assemblies in accordance with IPC610 and IPC 620 experience in mechanical assembly.

     

    J Standard-001

     

    Familiar with assorted torque tools and crimping tools and other manufacturing tools/equipment.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $50923 - $81477

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
