    **Pacific Disposal** , a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a Class B CDL **Shred Truck Driver** to join the team at our Mobile Shredding location in **Lacey, WA.** Previous shred experience would be a huge _plus_ !

     

    The schedule will be **Monday- Friday** ; hours of operation vary depending on the route assigned. Typically, will be a 10-hour day. Must be able to work holidays.

     

    Starting pay is **$36.05** per hour.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Perform on-site document destruction of confidential material using mobile-based shredding equipment.

    + Preparing paperwork neatly and accurately in accordance with all Company, Local, State, NAID, and Federal Policies.

    + Perform the pick-up of customer material in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner.

    + Must be able to operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

    + Loading and unloading a truck through a variety of mechanisms.

    + Using wireless scanning technology and communication devices for service and communication purposes.

    + A typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, with an occasional Saturday as needed and some overnights, 45 hour work week.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 75 pounds.

    + Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts. Which require following basic safety precautions.

    + The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

    + Continuously going into businesses and interacting with clients.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + Possess a valid Washington Class B CDL.

    + Must be able to pass a background check to be NAID certified, which clears the driver to handle sensitive material and work in state buildings.

    + Have a clean driving record.

    + Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening.

    + Be able to pass a 7 year criminal history background check.

    + 1+ years of face-to-face customer service as well as route transportation is preferred.
