    Program Management – Program Director Clinical

    Are you an experienced RN and human services professional with management ability and the desire to make a difference in people’s lives? As Clinical Program Director, you will be responsible for overseeing program operation and managing services in a specialty clinical program, including medically fragile homes.

     

    + Staff Management/Supervision:

    + Participate in the recruitment and interviewing of all staff; hire direct staff members in consultation with the PD’s manager; approve the hiring of direct support professionals and other indirect staff members

    + Supervise and manage assigned staff, resolving employee relations issues as needed

    + Organize and implement on-site orientation and training for assigned programs; monitor training compliance and documentation

    + Conduct monthly staff meetings; attend monthly regional meetings

    + Design and monitor schedules to assure that all shifts are covered; monitor and minimize overtime

    + Conduct annual performance evaluations for direct reports in consultation with the PD’s manager; review and approve annual performance evaluations for Direct Support Professionals and other staff members

    + Monitor compliance with employee safety and workers’ compensation programs; assist in returning employees to work; implement and oversee employee safety training

    + Program Management:

    + Act as the Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (“QIDP”); write and approve individual program plans; train and assist appropriate staff members with implementation of plans

    + Periodically audit individual records and other program documentation for accuracy and completion

    + Conduct progress meetings and other regular reviews as appropriate or determined by the interdisciplinary team; provide and approve written progress reviews

    + Oversee licensing compliance for program services and supports; ensure timely and accurate program documentation; implement the company compliance plan; manage individual rights implementation

    + Oversee management of individuals’ funds and property, assuring safety, security, and accuracy; audit, monitor, and review individuals’ financial accounts

    + Maintain productive and professional relations with individuals, families, case managers, and other stakeholders; provide regular communication to stakeholders; implement satisfaction improvement plans

    + Health Care and Safety:

    + Oversee coordination of health care appointments and monitor individual attendance

    + Oversee system for medication administration, documentation, and security; review documentation for accuracy and completeness; ensure that all applicable employees are certified or trained in medication administration

    + Approve purchases of medical supplies and equipment; ensure training on proper use to all employees

    + Implement proactive strategies to reduce or eliminate serious accidents/incidents; take immediate steps to correct potential safety concerns and limit the potential for continued concern or incident; review all incidents and direct appropriate response; ensure timely incident reporting

    + Monitor food service in accordance with dietary plans and regulatory compliance; ensure consideration for special dietary needs and occasions as well as individual choice and preferences

    + Financial Performance of Program:

    + Approve purchase of food, supplies, and equipment; review and monitor monthly invoices for accuracy and budgetary compliance

    + Attest to company credit card statements and monthly invoices in accordance with company policy

    + Oversee census, attendance information, or other required documentation to ensure accurate billing; monitor utilization between authorization and provision of services and supports

    + Monitor staffing hours for budgetary compliance

    + Maximize census, average daily attendance, and utilization

    + Maintenance/Cleanliness of Facilities and Vehicles:

    + Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, clean, and safe by consulting with maintenance personnel; implement training procedures for safe operation of company-owned vehicles; address known safety concerns with employee vehicles or other means of transportation

    + Monitor and implement strategies to ensure neat, clean, and safe program environments (both internal and external); ensure age-appropriate and esthetic decoration

    + Oversee environmental safety program; establish preventive maintenance schedule; maintain furnishings, equipment, and facilities in good repair and in compliance with regulatory standards

    _Qualifications:_

    + Bachelor's degree and graduate of an accredited RN program required

    + Two to three years of related experience

    + Other education, licensures, and experience as required by applicable state regulations

    + Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance if driving on the behalf of the company

    + Medication Management Certificate and Mandatory Reporter Certificate issued with the completion of company-provided training

    + Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task

    + Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect information from different sources

    + Demonstrated ability to motivate team and drive results to meet goals
