    Sodexo at Stevenson University is seeking a Unit Controller in Owings Mills, Maryland

     

    This role ensures accuracy, transparency, and compliance while driving process improvements and cost-control initiatives. The Controller will partner closely with operational leaders to analyze performance, identify opportunities for efficiency, and support informed strategic decision-making. Strong healthcare finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to manage complex, multi-entity financials are essential for success in this role.

    What You'll Do

    + Oversee financial operations across multiple business units, ensuring compliance with Sodexo policies and regulatory requirements.

    + Develop and implement financial controls, processes, and reporting to maintain the accuracy and integrity of data.

    + Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles across all units, aligning financial plans with organizational goals.

    + Report VMP Monthly, Review Market Connection, and prepare Weekly Flash

    + Daily review of E-Vision

    + Knowledge of UFS, Budget preparation, E-Planning, PAM & UKG

    + Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes for multiple entities, ensuring accurate reporting. Consolidate financial statements and provide detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts

    + Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability, cost optimization, and strategic decision-making

    + Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive analysis and internal control enhancements

    + Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity for all units to ensure financial stability
