    JOB SUMMARY:

    Provides support for the Entertainment Production team at Universal Kids Resort (UKR) for new projects and special events including but not limited to seasonal, holiday, internal events, revenue events, off-property events, production and filmed assets, and short and long-term event projects. Provides administrative and operational assistance for all phases of the project life-cycle including but not limited to the design, production and operation from original concept through project/event close out. Support for events consists of preparation of documents, presentations, scheduling meetings, event execution, and coordinating event staff and talent. Addresses concerns and properly disseminates information to the appropriate internal managers, partners, venues and Team Member(s) during all events and projects.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Assists management in event/project documentation such as staff requests, revisions, confirmations and creation of entertainment itineraries per policies and Entertainment Production SOPs. Ensures precise information is being obtained and all work is being checked for accuracy. Coordinates communication of pertinent event/project information with other departments, including but not limited to Marketing and Sales, Community Relations, External Affairs, Park/Hotel Management, Technical Entertainment and third-party vendors. Assists in managing and submitting Legal & IP approvals and maintaining key processes.

    + Acts as the main contact for Entertainment venues & performers during events including but not limited to signing in/out cast and crew, securing required paperwork, monitoring and reporting entertainment elements & closing out events. Monitors event logistics in order to ensure that all entertainment elements are ready and in place, and are in compliance with Performer SOPs, company policies, IP standards, and vendors’ contracts. Demonstrates proficiency with small events (such as local or regional off-property character appearances) including on-site troubleshooting and problem-solving. Addresses any immediate issues pertaining to the event/project. Responsible for communicating relevant information to both upper management and Team Members.

    + Focuses on Guest and Team Member satisfaction for show quality and cross-departmental working relationships by maintaining documentation including but not limited to general templates for training, look book libraries, budget tracking, project calendars, department guidelines, SOPs, and messaging changes to all stakeholders.

    + Ensures that the event/project’s quality standards consistently align with the creative intent. Regularly reviews and walks through the production sites to monitor progress and developments to ensure that the work being accomplished is in accordance with the contract documents. Provides status updates/reports to leadership.

    + Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    EDUCATION:

    + Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:

    + 1+ years previous leadership experience required; 1+ years’ experience within the professional entertainment or theme park industry required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
