Home Infusion Registered Nurse

Bring your nursing expertise directly to patients’ homes—where comfort meets compassionate care. As part of CarepathRx Specialty Pharmacy & Infusion Solutions, you’ll support patients with complex therapy needs while helping them gain confidence in managing their health at home.

Responsibilities

+ Deliver safe, professional home infusion care focused on improving patient outcomes.

+ Provide clear education to patients and caregivers to build confidence in managing infusion and enteral therapies.

+ Collaborate closely with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated, whole‑person care.

+ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

+ Exercise sound clinical judgment and autonomy in diverse home settings.

+ Communicate effectively with care teams, patients, and caregivers in both written and verbal formats.

+ Follow safety procedures for handling hazardous agents and blood/body fluids.

Required Qualifications

+ Active RN license in the state of practice.

+ Minimum 2 years of RN experience.

+ At least 1 year of clinical infusion therapy experience, including patient assessment and venous access skills.

+ CPR/BLS certification.

+ Proficiency in IV insertion and infusion techniques.

+ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a large geographic area.

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

+ Experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy settings.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
