Dining Supervisor, Immigrant Room

Opportunity

The Dining Supervisor II provides support to the restaurant management team through the supervision of front of house restaurant staff and a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Manage all guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership. Will have the ability and knowledge to work in more than one outlet and to fill in as Dining Floor Manager, as needed.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Support management with daily administrative tasks including but not limited to purchasing, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, records control and filing.

+ Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.

+ Reconcile all operational paperwork including but not limited to guest receipts and vendor invoices.

+ Work with staff and management team to ensure proper cost controls and inventory levels.

+ Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about the special items for the day and menu changes if any.

+ Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizingappropriate methods to upsell.

+ Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system.

+ Process payment transactions.

+ Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed.

+ Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions.

+ Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

+ Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.

+ Observe guests and ensure their satisfaction with the food and service.

+ Promptly respond to guest with any additionalrequest.

+ Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed).

+ Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.

+ Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station.

+ Help other areas of the restaurant.

+ Training restaurant front of house staff.

+ Assist with supervising the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations.

+ Resolve escalated guest concerns.

+ Create and execute special projects and assignments.

+ Assist in answering telephone calls from guests.

+ Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed.

+ Cross-trained to work in more than one outlet.

This is a full-time position with hours between 2:00 pm and 12:00 am.

Skills/Requirements

+ Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.

+ Must be 18 years old.

+ 5+ years’ experience in restaurant.

+ 2+ years’Supervisory experience preferred.

+ High school diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree preferred.

+ The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

+ The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit,climb or balance, and stoop or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

_The hourly rate for this position is $22.00. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location._
