    What We Offer

     

    + Schedule: 7P-7A, Night Shift, Full-time (36 hours), weekend & holiday rotation. This unit self schedules on a 6 week time tract.

    + Department: Labor & Delivery (L&D)

    + Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston-Salem, NC

    + Unit Information: 21 labor rooms, OB ED, 2 Operating Rooms. This unit labors the mom from the time she comes in through immediate post-partum recovery.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

     

    What We're Looking For

     

    + Education: High school diploma or GED required.

    + Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required

    + Licensure/certification/registration: Completion of NAI program required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I required. Medication Safety - AME required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units required.

    + Additional skills preferred: Basic computer skills for documentation.
