HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The primary responsibility is to manage customer relationships to achieve optimum cooperation and goodwill between the companies. Substantial relationship-building and team-building abilities are required . Responsible for collaborating with all disciplines of the organization to ensure that Ferrotec’s interests are well represented and that the customers’ needs are understood, planned for, and responded to in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate will have strong ability to determine business drivers, create a strategy for driving growth, and work with internal and external resources to bring that strategy to life.
Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
+ Provide sales forecasting, establish sales goals and pipeline management for the Arizona, Texas, and Florida territories.
+ Develop the sales strategy for the region: identify and organize the customer base, deploy sales strategy in the field; recommend and implement action plans; share information internally; identify and leverage new business opportunities.
+ Development and execution of the sales plan in key target segments: pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic.
+ Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates.
+ Position the company as the solution provider and customer advocate.
+ Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with various teams to ensure sales targets are met.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
+ Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences required ; Advanced degree in Life Sciences preferred.
+ 7+ years of s ales ex perience including 3+ years of exceeding sales targets in the $20 M + range for life sciences , genomic solutions strongly preferred.
+ Must be in field a minimum of three days/week to partner , influence and strategically steer sales to achieve revenue target.
+ Extensive familiarity with existing academic and corporate accounts in the Arizona, Texas, and Florida areas .
+ Must have experience working in large Life Sciences organization with ability to navigate and manage corporate structure and expectations .
+ Ability to travel – more than 50% of the time

+ Experience in custom product and / or one of these domains of application that are NGS or qPCR/ dPCR

Due to the remote work status of this role, the starting salary range included in this job posting is a national average. Salary offers will depend on your experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location. Actual salary may vary due to these and other factors.
