_JOB OPPORTUNITY: Physician (Primary Care)_ Hartford HealthCare Medical Group, Inc. seeks a full-time Primary Care Physician to: Perform comprehensive assessments and treatment of adult patients in the outpatient ambulatory clinic setting; perform symptom and disease management and treatment of patients presenting with a variety of medical complaints and diagnoses, and provide patient and family education, psychosocial support, and appropriate referrals to specialists; and document patient information appropriately in the electronic patient record according to policy and regulatory requirements. Physician will treat patients at the Medical Group's outpatient clinics located at 525 Tunxis Hill Cut Off, Fairfield, CT 06825 and 425 Post Road, Fairfield, CT 06824. The minimum requirements for this position are: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or the foreign equivalent; completion of a U.S. medical residency program in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; and the possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
