    Technical Intern

     

    KBR’s Mission Engineering Division delivers complex technical solutions and expert support to the U.S. Department of War, specializing in modeling and simulation, cyber transformation, air vehicle mission integration, and lifecycle support. As a trusted partner with a proven history in mission technology, KBR collaborates closely with clients to develop innovative and effective solutions.     We are seeking a Technical Intern to support our operations in Lexingonton Park, MD.

     

    Roles and Responsibilities

     

    + Assist with research projects, data entry, reporting, and office administration tasks.

    + Support day-to-day operations and provide status updates upon request.

    + Conduct research on various topics and gather relevant information for project needs.

    + Assist with creative projects and data-gathering for reports using Excel, Publisher, and other software.

    + Prepare and assist with presentations and project briefings.

    + Document processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

    + Perform photocopying, scanning, and filing of documents.

    + Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively across tasks.

    + Learn and adapt to new technologies and tools as required.

    Basic Qualifications

    + Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in Southern Maryland, pursuing a BS in Computer Science.

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Prior internship experience.

    + Experience with data streaming platforms.

     

    Scheduled Weekly Hours: 8-10 hours/week

     

    Compensation: $20/HR

     

    Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
