JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE
The IT System Administrator I assists the Director by maintaining the organization computer systems and networks to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Plays an integral role in managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing the IT infrastructure, providing support to end-users, and implementing security measures. Works in coordination with senior IT SysAdmin personnel.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ System Maintenance: Regularly updating and maintaining the servers, computers, and networks to ensure optimal performance.
+ Monitoring: Continually monitoring systems for performance issues, security breaches, and potential problems.
+ Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
+ Security: Implementing and managing security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats.
+ Backup and Recovery: Managing data backups and ensuring the ability to recover information in case of system failure.
+ System Upgrades: Planning and executing system upgrades and patches to keep the IT infrastructure up-to-date.
+ Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
+ User Support: Providing technical support and training to end-users.
+ Network Management: Ensuring reliable connectivity and managing network hardware and software.
+ Compliance: Adhering to industry standards and compliance regulations.
+ Manage and maintain all 365 user access to the domain active directory
+ Manage and maintain all Email services and servers on primisses and cloud based
+ Add and remove users from Active Directory and manage user count for billing.
+ Other duties as assigned
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ System Maintenance and Network Management
+ Assist CQI in automating reporting processes and developing data visualization tools
+ User Support with software applications used at VOALA (user support, passwords, hierarchy, data access, etc)
+ Repairs and Troubleshoots existing hardware systems
+ Provides support to VOALA/SCADP staff on hardware and software issues, training and technical assistance
+ Implementing and managing network security
+ Maintain network documentation and compliance records
+ Oversees 3d party technicians as needed
+ Other duties as required and may be subject to change
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
EDUCATION:
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or four years of related experience. -
+ Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
EXPERIENCE:
+ Three years- progressively responsible experience in systems administration
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience with database and reporting applications
