Hospitalist to join UNC Johnston, Smithfield, NC

UNC Health Johnston is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Smithfield and Clayton, NC. Affiliated with UNC Rex, these positions involve delivering high-quality, team-based benefits including, quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.

Smithfield is located just thirty minutes from Raleigh, the vibrant state capital. We have great weather, a welcoming community, an energized downtown and a low cost of living. **Schedule:** 7 days on and 7 days off (7am-7pm)

Requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school

• Internal Medicine Residency preferred

• Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified Internal Medicine

• DEA;MD

Professional Experience Requirements:

• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

• Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSNorth Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
