The Sr. Buyer/Planner is responsible for buying and planning capital equipment to ensure material availability, optimize inventory, and support Mammotome’s global supply chain objectives. This role will manage procurement through MRP and other planning methods, maintain supplier relationships, and drive performance in On-Time Delivery (OTD), cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy. The position requires strong analytical skills, ERP expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
The role is also involved in special initiatives within the Global Supply Chain team plus additional projects as needed or assigned.The role combines traditional buyer/planner duties with expertise in analytics, problem solving, ERP administration, workflow automation (including Agentic AI), and lean coaching.
This position reports to the Sr. Manager of Planning and is part of the Global Operations Team and will be located in Cincinnati, Ohio as an on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Manage inventory and stock levels & develop accurate forecasts using advanced planning models (MRP, Kanban, CRP, min/max, JIT), collaborating with Sales and Marketing, and aligning supply with demand.
+ Optimize productivity, inventory, and freight spend while owning SAP master data and item information, ensuring accuracy and compliance for planning and purchasing processes through capacity and takt planning for Mammotome and suppliers.
+ Ensure key KPIs such as On-Time Delivery and Inventory Value through daily management and problem-solving.
+ Maintain supplier relationships, including PO management, resolving pricing discrepancies, monitoring OTD, and driving corrective actions.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including training on ERP/BI tools, lean methodologies, and cross-functional projects to reduce cost and improve processes.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline with 5+ years of experience in purchasing and planning roles within a regulated manufacturing environment.
+ Strong ERP expertise with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills (SAP preferred) with the ability to manage master data and planning processes, leveraging BI tools for reporting and insights.
+ Proven ability to lead training and coaching on planning methods, lean tools, and DBS methodologies.
+ Experience managing product lifecycle transitions, including phase-in/phase-out and new product introductions.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple priorities, escalations, and cross-functional projects under pressure.

The annual salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $90,000-$105,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
