Overview

Our Orange office is looking for a Sr. Survey Designer with 10+ years of experience to join our Survey team!

Responsibilities

+ Conducts boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.

+ Prepares accurate and detailed survey maps and plats.

+ Utilizes advanced survey equipment and software for data collection, analysis, and mapping.

+ Coordinates with project teams to ensure survey tasks are completed on time and within budget.

+ Interprets and verifies the accuracy of survey data and legal descriptions.

+ Identifies and resolves discrepancies in survey information.

+ Provides mentorship and guidance to junior team members.

+ Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in survey design and implementation.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other survey-related software.

+ Strong knowledge of boundary law and legal aspects of surveying.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.

+ Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings

+ Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley products

+ Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn

+ Ability to work independently and with a team

+ Willingness to mentor and teach others

+ Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter

Salary Range:

$110,000 to $130,000
