Your role and responsibilities
About the organization
The Front-end Experiences organization at HashiCorp exists to enable and support the engineering and design delivery of accessible, high-quality UIs through a focus on tooling, infrastructure, design systems, education, and culture. The organization is responsible for [1] Helios, HashiCorp’s design system, our accessibility program, the long-term reliability and stability of our UIs, and more. The organization acts as a center of excellence to support the front-end engineers and designers across the Automation Platform.
About the role
As a member of Front-end Experience’s Enablement team, you will provide support and enablement for delivering complex, cross-product UI features across HashiCorp’s portfolio of products. You’ll work closely with engineers and designers across the company to leverage your experience and expertise in building accessible, delightful, and maintainable UIs.
What you’ll do (responsibilities):

Collaborate with product designers and engineers to support the delivery of new features or major refactors in our UIs
*
Serve as a trusted specialist in your field, whether it’s UI engineering, accessibility, or another specialty, for our partner teams
*
Identify and act on opportunities to leave our product UIs better than you found them
*
Adapt to evolving priorities and new initiatives, frequently learning new products and areas of focus under guidance from more senior team members.

Support effective project handoff through written communication and documentation

Required technical and professional expertise
* Have production experience working on an application using a JavaScript framework (e.g. [1] Ember.js, React), building responsive layouts with CSS and HTML
*
Strong collaboration and communication skills, and an ability to build productive relationships with a diverse range of cross-functional partners
*
Strive for quality through maintainable code and comprehensive testing from development to deployment
*
Be familiar with web accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
*
Communicate clearly while remaining empathetic and kind
