Endoscopy Technologist Responsibilities:

+ Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.

+ Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite, holding, and recovery areas.

+ Orients patients and significant others to the unit.

+ Maintains environment by cleaning and storing equipment, disposing of linens, and stocking supplies

+ Keeps patient areas clear of trash and clutter, cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy equipment and stretchers

+ On-call, weekend and perform other duties as assigned.

+ Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

+ Must have computer, written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the position

+ Show strong organizational, customer service, time management, administrative, and clerical skills

Certification:

+ Required – BLS (Basic Life Support)

Education:

+ Required – High School or Equivalent

Experience:

+ Preferred – 1 year – Related field

Shift Hours:** **6:45AM -3:15PM

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
