BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a **Mental Health Technician** to join our outstanding and compassionate team!

Mental Health Technician Position Details:

+ **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Behavioral Health Adult-SABH

+ **Location:** St Anthonys

+ **Status:** Pool, Exempt: No

+ **Shift Hours:** 6:45PM - 7:15AM

+ **Weekend Work:** Every Other

+ **On Call:** No

The Mental Health Technician Prime Pool Responsibilities:

+ Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse.

+ Provide ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to Ensure safety and wellbeing.

+ Promote communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.

+ Assist with physical care under the direction of a RN.

Required Certification/Licensures:

+ BLS (Basic Life Support)

+ Driver's License - If applicable

+ CNA (Nursing Assistant) - preferred

+ Patient Care Technician - preferred

Required Education:

+ High School or Equivalent

+ Associate's degree in related field - Preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in related field- Preferred

Required Experience:

+ Emergency Medical Technician - Preferred

+ Healthcare - Preferred
