    Description

    Summary:

    We are looking for an effective Warehouse Supervisor to direct our wire department within our fast-paced warehouse environment. This position would oversee the receipt, storage, packaging, and dispatch of our wire inventory. You will ensure the wire department runs smoothly, material ships accurately, and service levels demonstrate continued improvement with an emphasis towards growth.

     

    Reports to: Warehouse Manager

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

    + Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    + Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

    + Strong decision making and problem solving skills

    + Excellent communication and organization skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor

    + Expertise in warehouse supervision procedures and best practices

    + Ability to operate a forklift

    Working Conditions:

    Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures.

    Essential Job Functions:

    + Identify, measure, and cut wire to the correct length and size per customer orders

    + Strategically manage wire department in compliance with company’s policies and vision

    + Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations of wire department

    + Maintain standards of health and safety

    + Coordinate with purchasing to maintain sufficient inventory levels

    + Communicate with sales and purchasing teams

    + Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided

    + Operate a forklift as needed

    Compensation Range:

    The compensation range for this position is $65000 to $75000 annually.
