Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

+ Provides high quality medical care for hospital patients.

+ Participate in chart audits and Quality assurance activities.

+ Facilitates transition of care at discharge.

+ Communicates health status and treatment plan to patient, family and hospital staff

+ Documents information completely for patient care and billing purposes

+ Conducts educational activities in required curriculums as assigned

+ Teaches medical students, residents and others in graduate health education programs

+ Attendance at interdisciplinary or nursing rounds.

+ Daily communication with the team caring for the patient

+ Keeps abreast of the latest developments in field, both academically and through applied skill.

+ Development of personal and professional knowledge and competence through continuing medical education including maintaining board certification • Attends and actively contributes to Meetings

Other duties as assigned.

Mercy Hospital is an 82 bed, acute care hospital located in the scenic southwestern Colorado town of Durango. It is the only hospital in Colorado to be rated by Medicare with five stars for overall hospital quality. Pay Range

145.00 - $160.00 /hour
