Manager – Finance, Segment & Marketing Analytics
Global Commercial Services (GCS) provides a range of card programs and expense management tools to help large, medium and small businesses around the world manage almost all the facets of their business spending. The GCS Lead Financial Office (LFO) team is responsible for providing financial management, decision support, and planning & results analysis to the Chief Commercial Officer and her direct reports to help achieve BU and AXP financial targets.
This position represents an exciting opportunity to partner with both the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) organization (representing a significant proportion of all AXP Billed Business), and the Global Commercial Marketing organization, working directly with business leadership.
The Manager will focus on these main activities:
+ Support business initiatives to help identify growth opportunities and areas of risk in the SME portfolio, leveraging big-data sources and profitability metrics to influence business leadership and drive key priorities
+ Help drive efforts to expand utilization of lifetime-value measurement across the portfolio while focusing on whole customer returns.
+ Support the implementation & enhancement of intra-cycle Prospect Marketing decision-making toolsets, identifying synergies across teams and datasets, connecting outcomes to investment processes
While the ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate all the below attributes, a high level of expertise in one or more area would be a strong positive to any application:
+ Confidence in developing financial insights and being able to present them to leadership, stakeholders, and partners by means of comprehensive reporting, executive level decks, and presentations
+ Strong relationship building skills and capable of partnering across teams
+ Demonstrated ability to identify and implement analytical insights
+ Advanced Excel skills required
+ Experience in SQL/SAS/Python enhances any application, desire to learn is a requirement for success in the role
+ Self-starter who thrives in fast paced environment
+ 5 years experience in Finance, data analytics, strategy, or consulting
+ Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred
Qualifications
Salary Range: $89,250.00 to $150,250.00 annually bonus benefits
