Essential Job Functions:

Culture and Leadership

+ Champion the organization’s core values in all leadership and decision-making.

+ Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture that promotes safety, engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Operations Management

+ Oversee daily operations to ensure KPIs are met.

+ Forecast 30 days ahead to monitor staffing needs, P&L metrics, and productivity.

+ Collaborate with team leads and support staff for efficient resource coordination.

+ Interpret and analyze operational data from various sources.

+ Manage facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.

+ Ensure compliance with FTA, DOT, DHS, and STS regulations.

People Leadership & Development

+ Hire, train, and retain high-performing operations staff.

+ Implement regular coaching sessions and development planning with team leads.

+ Promote employee engagement and recognition initiatives aligned with company culture.

+ Manage employee relations in coordination with HR.

Continuous Improvement & Strategic Support

+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and service quality.

+ Lead or participate in cross-functional projects supporting growth and innovation.

+ Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning.

Qualifications

+ Proven leadership experience in operations management, preferably in transportation or logistics.

+ Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (FTA, DOT, DHS, STS).

+ Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to manage budgets and interpret financial data.

+ Commitment to fostering a positive and safety-focused workplace culture.
