As a **Security Officer - Community Patrol Full-Time** in **New York, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with residents and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist residents and visitors with questions, directions, and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Collaborate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.

+ Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
