    As a **Security Officer - Armed Aero Patrol** in **San Diego, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment within a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine armed patrols, remaining visible to support a sense of security, and providing outstanding customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

    + Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas, in accordance with location-specific protocols.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal.

    + Support emergency preparedness initiatives and participate in drills as required by the location.

    + Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and client representatives to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.

    + Remain alert and attentive during assigned shifts, reporting any observed hazards, security-related breaches, or maintenance needs to appropriate personnel.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least six months of security-related experience is required.

    + A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
