    Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing support team, ensuring efficient material handling and safe operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Forklift Operator

    **Location:** West Coxsackie, NY

    **Pay Range:** $21

    **Shift:** 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday through Friday

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Operate within one or more areas in a continuous flow manufacturing process to meet production and quality standards.

    + Perform routine inspections and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.

    + Monitor processes using meters, gauges, valves, and related controls to ensure adherence to specifications.

    + Report malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments or repairs to equipment.

    + Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.

    + Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing, bending, and lifting.

    + Previous experience in manufacturing operations is preferred but not required.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

    + Commitment to safety and quality standards.
